Around 24 Brownwood Accelerated High School students visited the Cross Country Healthcare Center on December 14th to spread some Christmas cheer. Students had cooked and packaged treats for the residents, taking special care to include diabetic snacks.
Upon arrival, students walked down the halls caroling with guitar accompaniment, and finished up in the cafeteria where they helped make some jingle bell crafts and addressed some Christmas cards for residents who wanted the assistance.
Cassidy Burleson, Sherry Davidson and Wanda Rainey were BISD staff supervisors of the activity. “The event was coordinated with the administrator and activities director of the center,” said Davidson. “This was an enjoyable time for all.”
