The 61st annual Brown County Youth Fair officially got underway Monday morning as 77 entries of clothing items were brought in and the judging began in the home economics division.
From 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., clothing was accepted at the Home Economics building. These entries were then judged on appearance, as each entrant modeled their outfit for the panel of judges. Clothing items will also be judged Tuesday morning on the quality of their construction.
After lunch, entrants practiced for their style show, which will be held on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Home Economics building.
Foods and crafts items will begin arriving on Thursday for judging. All entries will be on display Friday.

The livestock portion of the Brown County Youth Fair will begin on Wednesday.
