The Brown County Water Improvement District #1(BCWID) will hold elections in May for two seats on their board of directors.
The seats for two directors will be up for re-election which are currently held by Mark Campbell and Ted Simpson. Any potential candidate looking for a place on the ballot can pick up a packet at the BCWID office.
“The filing deadline for anyone who wishes to file for one of the two positions that will be open at that time is March the 14th,” said BCWID General Manager Dennis Spinks.
The election day will be May 10th in conjunction with other area municipal elections.
Spinks said that if no other candidates file by the deadline other than the incumbents, the election will be canceled.
BCWID will contract with the Brown County Elections Office for election services.
