Friday, December 21

  • At approximately 1:01 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy responded to N US 183 for a warrant service. They contacted CEAIRRA MOORE. MOORE showed to have two warrants out of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for Endangering a Child. She was placed into custody and additionally charged with Possession of CS PG 1< 1gram and Resisting Arrest. MOORE was transported to the Brown County Jail where she was released to jail staff.
  • At 12:30 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 163 in Bangs, TX in regards to trespassing. Upon arrival, they met with the complainant, Paul Hoisington. Hoisington said that Primoris Utility company was on his property without permission and had cut the chain off his gate, to gain entry. After further investigation, Primoris Utility Company had contracted through Oncor to do work on the property next to Hoisington. Hoisington said he wanted to pursue charges for criminal mischief for the cut chain. A report was taken.

Saturday, December 22

  • At 12:45 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy and a Sergeant were called to St Patrick Dr for a burglary that had happened earlier in the day. A report was made.
  • At 9:50 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 381, Jomio and Rueliete’s Comic and Card Shop, in Brownwood, TX in regards to criminal mischief. Upon arrival, they met with the complainant, Harold Waddle. Waddle advised that an UNKNOWN person spray painted the driver side of his pick-up truck. A report was taken.
  • At approximately 1:41 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 500 block of 4th Street for an animal complaint. The incident is still being investigated.
  • At 1:41 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Harbor Dr in regards to assault not in progress. Upon arrival, they met with Cody Harrell. Harrell said that an older male had put him in a headlock and threaten to kill him. A report was taken.
  • A Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge pickup, TX LP # , in the 7100 block of HWY 279 for expired registration. The driver was identified as MARTINEZ, ALEXANDER. After a consent search of the vehicle, 9.6 grams of methamphetamine was located under the driver seat. After I transport MARTINEZ to the Brown County Jail, a further 0.6 grams of methamphetamine was found in the back seat of the patrol vehicle where MARTINEZ was sitting.

Monday, December 24

  • At 11:12 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 12300 Blk of 377 South in regards to a weapon offense. Upon arrival, they met with Juan Carrizal. Carrizal said while driving north on 377 S, the driver side window was struck by an unknown object. An information report was taken.

Wednesday, December 26

  • At approximately 12:19 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to an unwanted person at 1012 Walnut St in Brownwood, Texas. After further investigation, a report was made for an assault occurred.
  • At about 3:35 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy spoke to Martha Michele Ryan (victim), who stated someone had taken items out of her mailbox while she was not at home.
  • A Sheriff’s Corporal performed a traffic stop at the roadside park on W. US Hwy. 67 on a black Chrysler sedan. After a consent search, the driver, JOHN WESLEY JENNINGS, was arrested for possession of brass knuckles and the passenger, JERRY LYNN EMANUEL, was arrested for public intoxication.
  • At approximately 10:01 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of CC Woodson Rd in Brownwood, Texas in regards to harassment. After further investigation, criminal mischief had occurred on the property. A report was made.
