Brownwood News – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department has responded to the following calls in recent days.
On May 16, Deputy Taylor Fletcher received a report from a woman that her daughter had been routinely harassing her by phone.
On Friday, May 15, at approximately 15:40, Deputy Scotty Burke met with a complainant on CR 177 in reference to an Identity Theft report and investigation.
On Sunday, May 17, at about 01:52 hours, Deputy Simpson and Deputy Fabbiani responded to Cherokee Drive in May. This was in regards to a suspicious person. Upon arriving it was concluded there was not offense committed and an information report was made.
On May 16, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to the Brown County Jail. This was in regards to an inmate versus inmate assault. Only minor injuries were reported. A report has been made.
On May 18, Deputy Andre Smoot met with a complainant on Highway 183 North regarding fraud. He gathered all pertinent information and completed a report for further investigation.
On May 14, Deputy Saydie Hammonds responded to a call of criminal mischief at CR 620 in Blanket. A report was made.
