Brownwood News – The following calls for service were received by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department between May 1 and May 5.

On Friday, May 1, at about 22:40 hours, deputies responded to Starboard Drive in May, Texas.  This was in regards to a male subject yelling and shooting a gun.  Upon arriving in the area, deputies were unable to locate the suspected male.  Deputy Simpson later was notified the suspected male was never seen with a gun and was not seen firing a weapon of any sort.  An information report was made.

On May 1, at around 23:00 hours, units responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at Bluebonnet Hills Drive in Early.  Both residents admitted to pushing, but denied suffering any injuries or pain.  They were subsequently separated for the night.

On Saturday, May 2, at about 09:08 hours, Deputy Byron Langley arrived at S. U.S. 183 in Brownwood.  This was in regards to a theft.  Deputy Langley spoke with a man who stated someone had taken 11 round hay bales from the property without his consent.

On May 2, Deputy Taylor Fletcher spoke with a complainant about her husband failing to return a truck to her.  It was also learned the husband had threatened the complainant a week prior and a report was made.

On May 2, deputies were dispatched to an address on Bray Street.  This was in regards to an unwanted subject.  While on scene it was determined a woman had assaulted her boyfriend.  A report has been taken.

On Sunday, May 3, at about 19:10 hours, Deputy Simpson took a phone call which was in regards to a burglary of a storage building in Blanket.  Upon making contact with a female subject, she advised her storage unit was broken into on an unknown date by an unknown suspect.  A report was made.

On May 3, deputies were dispatched to an address on Cherokee Drive in May.  This was in regards to Criminal Mischief.  While on scene it was determined a man had threatened to hit his daughter.  A report has been taken.

On May 3, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was advised of a terroristic threat, received by third party information on a subject who had threatened to stab his brother.  The subject denied the claim and a report was made.

On May 2, deputies were dispatched to Sandy Beach Trailer Park in regards to a fight.  Multiple injuries were reported.  One subject was taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  Three subjects were placed in custody and taken to Brown County Jail.  Multiple reports have been made.  There were six victims and three suspects.

On Monday, May 4, at 13:26 hours, Deputy Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to 2800 Highway 377 South in regards to criminal mischief at Avenue C.  Upon arrival he spoke to a man who said another man had torn down his trailer.  After further investigation, the man was given permission to demolish the trailer by a woman.  A report was taken.
