Brownwood News – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department reports the following calls for service in recent days.
On Friday, April 3, at about 18:15 hours, Deputy Simpson responded to Avenue C. This was in regards to a male subject advising he was assaulted at Brin Street. Deputy Simpson spoke with a man who said he was assaulted by a another man. A report was made.
On Monday, April 6, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with a man in regards to fraud. This was on County Road 564. The man had sent a check by mail for a firearm he wished to purchase. He has not received the firearm or the money he sent. A report was taken.
On April 6, at approximately 19:01, Deputy Jose Rodriguez was dispatched to a domestic disturbance at South U.S. 183 in Brownwood. After further investigation, parties were separated and a report was made.
