The following calls for service were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and compiled in a report on Friday, June 7.

  • On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, a Lieutenant from the S.O. was dispatched to CR 334 in regards to someone illegally tampering with a water line.  Photographs were taken and a report was generated.
  • On June 6, 2019, at about 11:15 hours, a Deputy arrived at County Road 498 in Brownwood in regards to illegal dumping.  The Deputy noticed a white Chevrolet pickup parked on the property with a trailer full of garbage.  The Deputy observed a large amount of garbage on the property as well.  The Deputy ran a license plate number on the vehicle and it came back to a man who lives at an address at Lake Brownwood.  An attempt to contact the suspect was unsuccessful.
  • On June 6, 2019, a Deputy spoke to a man, by phone, about a known subject taking a dog and phone from his property.  Information was gathered and a report was made for further investigation.
  • On June 6, 2019, a Deputy responded to Bluebonnet Drive in Early for a report of illegal burning.  The Deputy met with firefighters on scene who reported tires and mattresses were being burned along with a large amount of brush.  Information was gathered and a report was made.
