Brownwood News – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department report issued Friday, May 1, included the following calls for service.

On Wednesday, April 29, at 13:29 hours, Deputy Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to West Main Blvd. This was in regards to an animal complaint. Upon arrival, he spoke with a woman who said a man’s dog attacked her dog. An information report was taken.

On April 30, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to County Road 546 in Brownwood for a report of a woman trespassing at the property. She had previously been issued a Criminal Trespass Warning for the residence. She resisted arrest and was placed in custody for Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transportation.

 

On April 30, deputies responded to the area around County Road 606, Brownwood. This was for a report of gunshots and possible woman screaming in the area. Deputies arrived and contacted the caller and person of interest. No signs of disturbance were found and no possible victim was located. An information report was made.
