MayorsChoiceParadeThe 47th Annual Brown County Rodeo Parade was a big success with a great crowd of spectators lining downtown Brownwood to see the variety of entries.

Parade officials recognized many entries this year in several categories who received a custom designed trophy.  Trophies were created by the students of the Brownwood campus of Texas State Technical College.

New this year was the selection of a Mayor’s Choice Award which went to the Brownwood High School Cheerleaders for their hard work on their float.

Pictured is Mayor Stephen Haynes presenting the award to the cheerleaders. (a photo of an example trophy is also attached).
