The 53rd Annual Brown County Rodeo begins tonight, June 2nd and will run nightly through June 4th.
Performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. each night at the Earl Q. Wilson Arena in Brownwood on Hwy 377 South. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.Advanced tickets are just $8 for adults and $6 for children and available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Citizen’s National Bank branch in Walmart, Texas Bank, Scott’s Western Wear, Leon River Mercantile, Diamond R Store & Café in Zephyr and KOXE Radio. Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults and $8 for children.
Entertainment during the rodeo will be provided by rodeo clown Tim “The Wild Thang” Lepard & the Ghost Riders and the Lone Star Cowgirls. T.C. Long will be this year’s announcer. Rodeo stock is being provided by the James Andrews Rodeo Company known for the legendary bucking bull “Bodacious.”
The annual rodeo parade will take place in downtown Brownwood at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4th.
The Brown County Rodeo is sanctioned by the UPRA, CPRA, TCRA and CRRA.
