All of Brown County is invited to take part in the Brown County Emergency Preparedness Fair on Friday, September 28 to help recognize National Emergency Preparedness month. The Fair will begin at 10:00 am and will last until 2:00 pm. It will take place in and around the American Red Cross building located at 600 E. Adams Street.
The Brown County Emergency Preparedness Fair will feature information booths, emergency vehicles, aircraft displays and live demonstrations from local emergency response agencies. An award ceremony will kick the event off honoring local and state leaders that work in this field.
Brown County emergency responders and officials hope to educate the public to regularly participate in drills, be prepared, and to know the community’s plan and leadership.
“We appreciate the support of such a patriotic community that cares about the area, state and our country,” said Brown County Public Health and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Jodie Armstrong.
