Brown County Non-Profits to Benefit from Giving Tuesday December 3rd

Brownwood News – Giving Tuesday this year will be Tuesday, December 3, all across the nation.

Here in Brown County there is a new collaborative effort to help out 25 non-profits on Giving Tuesday.

It’s called Brown County Gives and the day is intended to focus efforts locally with money raised on December 3^rd to stay here in the county and benefit the non-profits on the list.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick one or more nonprofits and make a donation this holiday season. Every little bit helps! After you’ve made a donation, please help us spread the cheer by posting on Facebook or sharing our page Brown County Gives. This is a new initiative and we need your help to get the word out! In future years, we hope to have other ways to be involved, such as matching donations, business incentives and volunteer opportunities as this project grows.
