Brown County Museum invites the public to consider volunteering. Those interested may come by the museum’s Center for Education Building at 209 N. Broadway in downtown Brownwood on Saturday, April 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. for a visit, volunteer information, and refreshments.
Volunteers are being sought to share stories with children, walk through the museum and tell interesting tidbits about local history and to work the gift shop. The Brown County Museum is contained in two buildings, one of which is the Old Jail which is the building that resembles a castle and was built in 1903.Call ahead or just drop in during the fair.
