The Brown County Museum of History will be hosting a block party from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday April 20th, at the Brown County Museum of History at 212 N. Broadway Street.

The block party will include games, prizes, tours, and fun for the whole family. The museum hopes to raise awareness of its importance in this community through the event.

Plan to enjoy a day of fun while learning about the rich history of Brown County.   Organizers state, “Going to jail has never been this much fun.”

The unique castle-style building of the Brown County Museum is located in downtown Brownwood.  Also known as the “Old Jail,” the building will celebrate its 110th anniversary on April 20, 2013.
