The spring 2011 issue of Hill Country Magazine has just been released which features Brownwood and Brown County.
The cover story focuses on Brown County being officially recognized as a part of the Texas Hill Country by the state. The issue also gives a brief history of the area and focuses on several points of interest.
Photos of the Martin and Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum, Lyric Theatre, Brown County Museum of History, Depot Civic and Cultural Center, Lake Brownwood, Howard Payne University, and 3M are all part of the article.
Copies of the issue are available at newsstands and at the Brownwood Store inside of the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce offices.
