Written by Ann Glasscock – The Queen’s committee is pleased to announce the 2018-2019 Brown County Fair Association Princess and Junior Miss contestants.
The contest is an opportunity for third through eighth graders in Brown County who are participating in the 2019 Brown County Youth Fair to achieve, learn, lead, and serve as role models and ambassadors for the Brown County Fair Association. The Junior Miss contestants are Rylie Guerrero representing Bangs, Mariela Menchaca representing Blanket, and Autumn Parvis representing Brownwood. The princess contestants are Alariece Constancio representing Brownwood, Hannah Deen representing Brownwood, Emily Diaz representing Brownwood, Jalynn Gotcher representing Bangs, Hutsyn Hohertz representing Early, and Cate Smith representing Brownwood.
These young ladies have accepted the challenge to go for the crown! The fair association is pleased to offer this opportunity for young ladies to develop their speaking and poise so that they can be future leaders and the future of agriculture. These young ladies will represent the fair association at the Christmas parade, speak at the Queens tea, discuss the upcoming youth fair on the radio, and walk the runway January 8th during the fashion show which culminates with crowning the princess and junior miss for

Membership sales are underway by the Queen Contestants! The Brown County Fair Association cattle barn is getting a facelift thanks to volunteers and donors. The Brown County Fair Association encourages Brown County to purchase memberships from the Queen contestants to help make improvements to our aging facilities. We also have opportunities for individuals and businesses to contribute donations directly to the association. We have goals to refurbish the home economics awning, add a new lamb and goat wash rack, and replace the lamb and goat pens. Thank you for your support of this organization that helps to create tomorrow’s leaders and the future of agriculture.
