Rodeo week kicked off with the annual Brown County Fair Association membership appreciation dinner Monday night.
Over 1200 members were invited to the dinner. Monday night’s hamburger supper was well attended as usual, with more than 400 members served. Six new board members were elected during the meeting.Membership in the Brown County Fair Association supports not only the upkeep of the fairground facilities but also supports the youth of Brown County through the annual Youth Fair and premium sale. Many exhibitors use their premium funds to travel to major stock shows and to save for college.
Memberships are available from BCFA board members for an annual fee of $20.
