Brownwood News – A news release Wednesday from the Office of Brown County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly, announced plans to reopen the county courthouse this coming Monday.
The County Judge’s current Executive Order restricting access to the Brown County Courthouse by appointment only expires at the end of day, Friday, May 15.
Judge Lilly will issue a new Executive Order on Friday, which will take effect Monday, May 18th when the courthouse will re-open.
Visitors will be restricted to five visitors in the building at any given time, with only one visitor in each department at a time.
Appointments will no longer be required starting Monday at the Brown County Courthouse.
