It has been my pleasure to serve the citizens of Precinct 1 and Brown County since January 2013 as your commissioner. Today, I am announcing my intention to seek re-election to the office of Brown County Commissioner Precinct 1.
My leadership, service and financial background, combined with my longtime history of working with the people of Brown County, have enabled me to successfully serve as your commissioner. Upon re-election I will continue to work with all other elected officials and department heads throughout the year and at budget time. I will also continue to keep road maintenance and rehabilitation projects moving forward. As projects are finished, others on the priority list will be started. I will always strive to serve the best interests of the citizens of Brown County and Precinct 1.I am a 1971 graduate of Brownwood High School and attended Howard Payne University and Tarleton State University. Donna and I have been married for 41 years and have 2 daughters and sons-in law and 3 grandchildren. Jennifer and Daryl Salyards live in Stephenville with children Karsen and Griffin. Janet and Alan Ogden live in Blanket with their son Graham. I am the son of Sue Worley and the late Wayne Worley. Donna and I are members of First Baptist Church in Brownwood. My hobbies include hunting and fishing, rodeos and camping with family.
It would be my privilege and honor to have your support in my bid for re-election. I will continue to be available at any time to discuss the concerns and thoughts from the citizens of Precinct 1 and Brown County. I am running on the Republican ticket.
