The Brown County 4-H Junior Rodeo that is sponsored by the Brown County 4-H Horseplay Club is set for August 21-22. Age groups are 8 and younger, 9-12, 13-15, and 16-19. Events include, Barrels, Poles, Flags, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Ribbon Roping, Tie Down, Steer Riding, Junior and Senior Bulls, and Team Roping for 19 years and older.
There will be added money for participants for two night average winner in the junior and senior bulls. There will be All-Around Buckles awarded in each age group.
The Grand Entry will start at 7pm and the rodeo will begin at 7:30pm each night. Participant entry fees are $25 for all roping events, $10 for all speed events, $15 for goat tying, $35 for junior bulls, $40 for senior bulls, $40 for team roping, and $20 for steer riding. Participants are required to attend both nights of the rodeo in order to win All Around Buckles.
