Brownwood News –  The Brown County Water Improvement District will meet at 4:00 pm Tuesday, February 11, at the Water District Office, 501 E. Baker.  The meeting agenda is below.

7. Citizens Presentations: Any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on agenda may do so at this time. The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board, each person submit a citizen’s presentation form located at the entrance lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation. All presentations are limited to five (5) minutes time limit.

8. Consider approval of Order of Election and Notice of Director’s Election for the May 2, 2020, Director’s Election;
9. Approval of agreement and contract for election services with the Brown County for conduction of District’s Director’s Election on May 2, 2020.
10. Update on previous request from Mr. Billy Sneed on approximately 6.13 acres on Lake Brownwood adjacent to his personal property.
11. Update and take necessary action on the dock encapsulation requirement.
12. Update and take necessary action on McCartney Island mooring leases.
Consider and take necessary action regarding the assignment of space 43 at McCartney Island, to Texas Bank; currently leased to Andrew Wheeler.
