In the early morning hours on Friday October 16th, Brown County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 279 as a result of a 911 call regarding a domestic disturbance according to sheriff’s reports.

Witnesses reported that 35-year-old Jason Brent Hall had gone to his ex-fiance’s house causing a disturbance and destroying some property inside of the residence.

When deputies questioned Hall about the incident on the scene, he was very agitated and was yelling at deputies according to reports.  When deputies asked where Hall lived he told them to just take him to jail according to reports.  The report also indicated that Hall had a cut on his head from a fall he took inside of the residence during the disturbance.

Deputies determined that Hall had been drinking and he was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Brown County Jail.

–In an unrelated case, deputies are investigating a report of a terroristic threat.  A complainant reports that he was threatened by a with a knife about a month ago.

The complainant says that the man who threatened him has been driving by his house and reportedly has a gun.  He reported the incident to the Sheriff’s office because he is in fear of his life according to reports.  Deputies are investigating the case.
