Brownwood News – (Contributed) The October meeting of the Brown County Conservatives will take place on October 24, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Lehnis Railroad Museum.  (Please note the new location for the October monthly meeting.)

State Rep. Mike Lang will be the guest speaker. Rep. Lang will provide an update on the activities of the Mass Violence Prevention & Community Safety Committee, the committee formed after the recent mass shootings in Texas and which he is a member, and a preview of the 87th Legislature. Rep. Lang is currently serving his second term in the Texas State House of Representatives and has announced he will be seeking reelection for a third term.

The BCC is a local conservative group open to members of the public interested in conservative policy and politics. BCC is not affiliated with any political party or organization. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the Facebook group Brown County Conservatives for updates and further announcements.
