Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, August 5, in the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is as follows:

 

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order

5. Presentation of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.
6. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed
7. Update on current FEMA projects and grants from Brown County Emergency Coordinator David Creed.
8. Consideration and Approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
A. Dr. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Budgeting new revenue from TrueCore lease;
B. Mr. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1- Consideration and possible approval of temporary employee;
C. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
D. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Employee change of status;
E. Mr. Wayne Shaw, Commissioner Pct. 3 – Consideration and possible approval of an application by Zephyr Water Supply Corp to install a private water line on CR 321;
F. Mr. Larry Traweek, Commissioner Pct. 4 – Consideration and possible approval of an application by Brookesmith SUD to install a private water line on CR 152;
G. Vance Hill, Brown County Sherriff– Consideration and possible approval to declare surplus property
H. Vance Hill, Brown County Sherriff– Consideration and possible approval to list for sale on gov.deals and/or donate the surplus property
I. Jennifer Robison, Brown County Auditor- Certification of new revenue from TrueCore lease
J. Carl Greer, Brown County Courthouse Maintenance Supervisor – Consideration and possible approval of bids to re-carpet the courthouse
K. Ronnie Lappee, Chairman Brown County Historical Commission — Consideration and possible approval of an amendment to Brown County Historical Commission bylaws to allow the county to be designated a Certified Local Government
L. Johnathan Harvey, Brown County Child Welfare Board – Consideration and possible confirmation of the appointment of Kandice Harris to the Child Welfare Board
