Matt Maxfield, Chief Executive Officer; John Sharp, Chief Financial Officer; and Pam Craig, RN, Chief Nursing Officer of Brownwood Regional Medical Center (BRMC) have been honored with Outstanding Achievement Awards from Community Health Systems, one of the nation’s leading systems of general acute-care hospitals. The organization includes Brownwood Regional Medical Center and over 120 other hospitals in 29 states. The Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes hospital leaders who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality healthcare and operational excellence.
Brownwood’s executive team has built a culture focused on delivering the best care for the community. Their success in creating a great place for employees to work, physicians to practice medicine and patients to receive care is demonstrated in their increased patient satisfaction results and the growth in admissions and number of surgeries performed. Increasing employee satisfaction results and reducing turnover to below the 15% benchmark are more illustrations of the collective success of not only the executive team but the efforts of all BRMC staff.
This award is well deserved by Brownwood Regional Medical Center’s executives and truly reflects on the entire team. “Our accomplishments and success are directly attributable to our people – including our Board of Trustees, medical staff, employees and volunteers. Together, we can be proud of our shared commitment to provide high-quality health services for our community and compassionate care to our patients,” stated Matt Maxfield, CEO.
