Brownwood Regional Medical Center CEO, Chip Camp, recently congratulated BRMC Volunteer Leona Jerden for her efforts in making the Wounded Warrior fund raising efforts at BRMC a success.
Pictured above are Camp, Jerden and BRMC Marketing Coordinator Andrea Lee. Lee is holding a “Hippa Marie,” a collection box with a unique figure, which was used to collect donations from BRMC staff and volunteers for The Warriors and Family Center. The center is located in San Antonio, Texas at Fort Sam Houston and was established in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.A total of $300.00 was raised for this Wounded Warrior Project by BRMC. Leona Jerden was instrumental in organizing and coordinating the fund raising efforts.
The BRMC Volunteers received a certificate of appreciation from the Warriors and Family Center for the donation for their “generous donation” which states “Your willing assistance demonstrates your concern for our Warrior and their families and exemplifies the spirit of America.”
