Brownwood News – The Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers are pleased to announce the selection of June Winfrey as the August 2018 BRMC Volunteer of the Month. June was made aware of her honor during the September 2018 BRMC Volunteer’s Executive Board Meeting.
June Winfrey joined the BRMC Volunteers in July of 1999 and has contributed over 7,160 Hours of Volunteer Service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She currently serves as a Volunteer at the BRMC Volunteers Information Desk located at the Main Entrance to BRMC. June has served at the BRMC Main Entrance Volunteer Information Desk since joining the BRMC Volunteer Organization. June commented, when she was informed of her selection as the August 2018 BRMC Volunteer of the Month, that she has enjoyed her experience as a BRMC Volunteer. She added that she plans on continuing to serve BRMC Patients and their family members, the BRMC Staff, and her fellow BRMC Volunteers for many years to come. June’s smile and her pleasant personality reflected her desire to be helpful to everyone she meets. The Brownwood Regional Medical Center and the BRMC Volunteers thank June for choosing to be a BRMC Volunteer and for her many contributions to BRMC and the BRMC Volunteer Organization.
The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a Volunteer and they are actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in serving others a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per month, being a BRMC Volunteering will meet your needs.
