The Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers are pleased to announce the November 2018 and December 2018 BRMC Volunteers of the Month. These selections were announced during the January 2019 Meeting of the BRMC Volunteer’s Executive Board.

BRMC Volunteer, Elaine Dandridge, was selected as the November 2018 BRMC Volunteer of the Month and BRMC Volunteer, Biolanda Villalpando, was selected as the December 2018 BRMC Volunteer of the Month.

Elaine Dandridge joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in December 2015. She volunteers in the BRMC Gift Shop where she assists BRMC Staff, patients, family members, and visitors in the purchase of unique gifts for loved ones. Elaine’s friendly personality helps to brighten the day for all those she serves.

She is a key member of the BRMC Gift Shop volunteer team. We thank Elaine for being a BRMC Volunteer and her many contributions to the success of the BRMC Gift Shop and the BRMC Volunteer Organization. She has accumulated over 425 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Biolanda Villalpando joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in January 2007. She volunteers at the BRMC Volunteers Information Desk located at BRMC’s Front Entrance. Her duties include providing patient room information and directions to BRMC Medical Areas to patients, family members, and visitors. Biolanda also assists the Outpatients Registration Staff in registering new patients. Her friendly personality is an asset to Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Biolanda is always willing to go the extra mile in assisting with volunteer projects and programs.

She recently assisted several other BRMC Volunteers in sewing Decorative Christmas Stockings for Newborns during the month of December 2018 so that each new mother and baby would have a keepsake of the birth at BRMC during the 2018 Christmas Season. We thank Biolanda for being a volunteer at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and her many contributions to the BRMC Volunteer Organization. She has accumulated over 970 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer and the organization is actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in serving others a minimum of 6 hours per month, being a BRMC Volunteer will meet your needs. Volunteering at BRMC is also a way of giving back and improving your community.
