Brownwood Regional Medical Center will host an educational program for the community on Thursday, February 19 from 2-3pm.
Tanja Morgan, FNP at Heart of Texas Internal Medicine will discuss causes and treatments of heart disease. Morgan will also stress the importance of a healthy heart.
According to the American Heart Association, 84 million people in the U.S. suffer from some form of cardiovascular disease, which affects blood flow throughout the body and can lead to heart attacks, strokes or other serious complications. A healthy heart lifestyle is the best way to prevent cardiovascular disease.The public is invited to attend this free program on Thursday, February 19 from 2-3p.m. in the BRMC Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the West Entrance off Streckert Dr. Refreshments will be served.
