Brownwood News – The Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers are pleased to announce the selection of their April 2018 Volunteer of the Month. During the May 2018 Meeting of the BRMC Volunteer’s Executive Board, it was announced that BRMC Volunteer, Nona Giddens, had been selected as the April 2018 BRMC Volunteer of the Month. 

 

 

 

Nona Giddens joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in January of 2007. She volunteers at the Volunteers Information Desk at the Front Entrance to BRMC, as well as, the Volunteers Day Surgery & Preoperational Registration/Interview Check-in Desk located at BRMC’s West Entrance. Nona always strives to meet the needs of all the BRMC Staff Members, Patients, Family Members, and Visitors that she contacts at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Her pleasant smile and cordial manner have a positive influence on everyone that she meets. Nona has accumulated over 1,090 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. 

The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the Award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a Volunteer and are actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in volunteering a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per month, you will find BRMC Volunteering will meet your needs.
