A brisket fundraiser lunch will be held on Saturday, April 13th to benefit Yanna Miller at Jones Carpet at 501 Carnegie Street.
The fundraiser will begin at 10:00 AM and last until it is sold out. The event is sponsored by H. D. Jones and Iron Horse Riding Club with desserts being provided by Steves’ Market and Deli. Plates will be offered for $8 each.
21-year-old Miller is the daughter of Lisa M. Gray and Brownwood City Councilman Draco Miller. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer which has spread to her lungs and liver. Yanna is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is facing many ongoing medical and travel expenses. She does not have medical insurance to cover her treatment.For those not able to attend the fundraiser, a special benefit account has been set up for Yanna Berniard Miller, at Western Bank located at 1110 Clements Street in Brownwood, Texas 76801.
