The Chamber’s Monthly Luncheon will be this Friday, September 17th at the Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The luncheon, which is open to members and guests, will feature an interesting program and will also include door prizes, introduction of new members and a cash drawing.
The featured speaker will be Brigadier General Peter J. Atkinson, the current Deputy Commanding General (Canada) for III Corps and Fort Hood headquartered at Fort Hood in Central Texas. General Atkinson will be speaking about the coalition forces in Afghanistan, as well as an update on Afghanistan, Iraq, and Fort Hood.
The cost of the luncheon is $11 per person to be paid at the door. Attendees may choose to charge their meals to their personal country club account.
