Funeral services for Brian Kelly Bilbrey, 46, of Brownwood , will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 10, at the funeral home.
Mr. Bilbrey passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, at his home in Brownwood .
Brian Kelly Bilbrey was born on September 6, 1965, in Brown County to Charles Lee Bilbrey and Freida Joyce Willborn Bilbrey. He was raised and attended school in Brownwood and had worked with Smith Roofing Company for several years. He loved camping, fishing and hanging out with friends.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Freida and Charles Bilbrey of Brownwood; sister, Jana Quick of Brownwood; brother, James Anthony “Red” Bilbrey of Ft Worth; aunts and uncles, Otis Willborn of Brownwood, Ernest Willborn of Brownwood, Bernice Randall of Vandervoort, AR; nieces and nephews, John Quick, James “Jamie” Virgil Bilbrey, Amber Dawn Quick and Chandra “Little Knothead” Hinshaw Bilbrey. He is also survived by numerous cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otis and Ethel Willborn; paternal grandparents, Virgil Lee Bilbrey and Loney Marie McAllister Bilbrey Lynch; two uncles, Jimmy Bilbrey and J.L. Bilbrey Houston; an aunt, Jerrie June Chisom, and special grandparents, Monroe and Sallie Bilbrey.
