BrendaJacksonBrenda Kay Jackson, age 58, of Brownwood formerly of May and Andrews, went to be with her Lord on Saturday evening at the Cross County Healthcare Center in Brownwood.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at the Wolfe Valley Cemetery near May with Chaplain Dick Williams officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.  Visitation will be held from 6 – 7:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

She was born in Andrews, Texas on April 5, 1951, the daughter of the late Floyd and Allyne Hardy Jackson.  She attended the Satellite School in Andrews. She and her parents moved to May in 1984.  She was employed at the Janie Clements Industries in Brownwood for many years.  She was baptized at the Second Street Baptist Church in Andrews as a young girl and had attended Southside Baptist Church in Brownwood.

Brenda loved Elvis Presley and listening to any of his songs.  She also loved bowling as well as going to work and being with her friends.  She loved people and her family.  She never met anyone she did not like and was very generous with her hugs.

She is lovingly survived by her three brothers, Jim Jackson and his wife Sue of May, Glynn Jackson and his wife Cynthia of May, Robert Jackson and his wife Sherry of May, Three Sisters –

Barbara Ostermaier and her husband Robert of Enid, Oklahoma, Jackie Jackson of May, Mary Cooper and husband Gary of May, Her sister-in-law – Margaret Jackson of May, A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Jackson.
