Brenda Annette Smith, age 56, of Oklahoma formerly of Brownwood passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, in Oklahoma.
Memorial Services for Brenda will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Kit Dean officiating; private family interment at Pear Valley Cemetery in Lohn. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Brenda was born to Tollan and Annabelle (Sunday) Maxwell on August 26, 1960, in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Aldine High School. Brenda married Charles Mike Smith on April 19, 2003; together they lived in Lohn until his passing in 2011.
Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She liked fishing, going to Hobby Lobby and decorating, singing and dancing, traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Annabelle Sunday; step-mother, Charlene Maxwell; children, Jennifer Lerna and husband Michael of Portland, TX, Tashia Hernandez and husband Simon of Brownwood, Michael Moon and wife Janice of Brownwood, Lisa Gonzales of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Pannell and husband Matthew of Brownwood, Thomas Lowery and wife Samantha of Houston, Melissa Nuncio and husband Joe of Lohn, and Jason Smith of Lohn; 16 grandchildren; siblings, Toni Tuck and husband Jim, David Maxwell and Sheila, Dessa Rae Munday and husband Larry, Marla Rhodes, Lisa Rice, Ronnie Dillaha, Randy Dillaha, and Lyndon Arehart; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Smith; father, Tollan Maxwell; sister, Terri Gay Maxwell; and grandparents.
