The American Southwest Conference today announced its women’s basketball weekly honor and Howard Payne guard Danyel Bradley was picked for the second time this season as the ASC Player of the Week.
Guard Danyel Bradley was a perfect 7-of-7 from behind the arc and scored a career-high 34 points in a win over Louisiana College. Bradley is the first player in league history to knock down a perfect 7-of-7 from three-point distance in a single game. The win placed the Lady Jackets ahead of LC in the conference standings with two games left in the regular season.In her career-high performance, she was also 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. The league’s leading scorer, Bradley was 9-of-12 (.750) from the field against LC and pulled down eight rebounds from the point guard position.
