Incoming Bangs High School senior Dylan Bostick recently won top honors at the Red Brangus National Junior Stock Show in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
At the show, which began on July 20th, Bostick won Grand Champion Bull & Grand Champion Bull Bred & Owned Bull.
Just last year, Dylan also took home the Grand Champion Heifer at the Nationals and his brother Dustin won Grand Champion Heifer in 2012.
His mother, Stephanie Bostick, stated that she feels the family has been “pretty blessed.”
“ Dylan’s passion is showing his heifers, bulls and steers and we are very proud of his many accomplishments,” said Mrs. Bostick.
Dylan will be a senior this year at Bangs High School and celebrates his 18th birthday on August 20th. This will be his last year to show in the junior shows; however, he plans to continue to show in the open shows while in college. Dylan plans on going to veterinary school after he graduates next May, according to his parents.
