Dylan Bostick of Bangs participated in the junior breeding heifer show at the Houston Livestock Show on Sunday, March 15th, taking home Reserve Grand Champion Red Brangus Heifer in March.
Bostick had some tough competition at this show, according to his mother Stephanie Bostick, who stated that his heifer is due to calf in just a few weeks.“We were really excited with the win, especially this being his last junior show in Houston,” said Mrs. Bostick. “We would like to thank the Reifel’s out of Houston, Texas for such a great heifer.”
Bostick will be heading back to Houston again this week for the steer show and then will travel to Austin the following week for the Heifer show. He is a senior at Bangs High School and plans to attend South Plains College in Levelland where he will be on be on the livestock judging team.
