Special Release – The Brownwood Municipal Police Association and the Brown County Salvation Army are teaming up this year to present the 4th Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance. This year’s dance, titled “Big Dads & Lil’ Darlins,” will be held on Saturday, April 8th, at 7 p.m. at the Brownwood Coliseum.
Tickets for the dance are $25 for dads, or male family members, and their daughter(s). Refreshments will be served during the dance, and entertainment will be provided by Dr. Tunes. A photo booth, manned by GOBO Entertainment will also be available during the dance.
Funds raised from the event will help fund scholarships for two local graduating high school seniors through the Rotary Club, as well as benefit the local Salvation Army. The Brown County Salvation Army operates a soup kitchen, which serves lunch Monday through Friday, as well as works to provide emergency utility and lodging assistance, donate heaters and coats to those in need, and even provide prescription assistance when funds are available.
Advanced tickets for the dance are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce.
