Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host their monthly luncheon at the Brownwood Country Club on Friday, October 18th featuring speaker Dr. Reece Blincoe, Superintendent of Brownwood Independent School District.
Since Dr. Blincoe’s arrival at BISD, Brownwood High School has been awarded the National Blue Ribbon designation and this year the district was selected as one of the top 3 small school districts in Texas by the H-E-B Excellence in Education awards. The public is invited to attend and learn what is new within the district.
Chamber luncheons are open to chamber members and their guests, prospective members, elected officials and the general public. Each luncheon includes a brief presentation by the presenting sponsor, introduction of new members, staff announcements and door prizes. In addition, the chamber has created an exciting cash drawing which will guarantees a winner at every luncheon.The buffet style lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and is offered for $12/plate. The program will begin at noon.
