The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that their Tourism and Marketing Manager Emily Crawford will be leaving the Chamber to take a position with the Brownwood Independent School District. Crawford will become the school districts Public Relations Manager which is a newly created position for BISD.
“Emily will be a huge asset to BISD and performing a very important role in helping them to get out the message of all the good that is happening in our schools,” Brownwood Chamber CEO Laura Terhune said. “We are fortunate that the Chamber will continue to work with Emily in her new position.”
Crawford has worked at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce for three years and will take up her new role with Brownwood ISD effective Dec 7th.
Terhune said regarding Crawford, “We wish her all the best and we’ll miss her very much.”
