Graveside Services for Billy Joe (B.J.) Crownover, 84 of Garrison, TX will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July14, 2011 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brownwood, TX.
Mr. Crownover was born 10/20/1926 and passed away on July 8, 2011. After graduating from Plainview High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine, served in the Korean Conflict & retired from a military career as a Master Sergeant with the Army National Guard. He & his wife enjoyed their retirement, residing at Lake Brownwood, along with his involvement in many bowling leagues & Grace Lutheran Church.
Mr. Crownover was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, parents, Joe Henry and Maidie Crownover, brothers, A.C. (Gus Crownover & Charles H Crownover.
He is survived by his son Charles & wife Fran of Garrison, Tx. & son Steve of Jenks, OK; Grandchildren, Chris & Amy Crownover, Kim Jones, Robert & Deanna Reynolds, Leasa & Darrell Lunsford, Dina Reynolds, Lori Williams & Scott Crownover; 10 great grandchildren and a host of relatives & friends.
