SmithBillyEarlJr.Billy Earl Smith, Jr., 59, of Euless and formerly of Brownwood, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home in Euless with family by his side. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 1719 9th St. with Terry Hancock officiating and burial to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. A Visitation will also be held at the Church Tuesday from 6-8pm.

Billy Earl Smith Jr. was born August 20, 1956 in Brownwood TX, to Billy Earl Smith, Sr. and Nancy Smith. Billy attended public Schools in Brownwood and began laying brick with his father at the age of 9. Soon after high school, he follwed in his father’s footsteps and started a long career as a brick mason. Billy was an extremely hard worker and a humble man who loved his family fiercely. He was absolutely adored by all children, especially his grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews and he enjoyed spoiling them all. An avid Texas Rangers fan, he also loved to read and do crossword puzzles in his spare time.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife almost 33 years, Cheryl Norris Smith of Euless, Daughters Stacy Reitz of Brownwood, Tiffany Reitz (Christopher) of Euless, 3 sisters Beth Smith, Nita Henderson of Academy, TX, Rhonda Robbins (Daniel) of Keller, TX, 2 brothers Melvin Smith (Patty) of Arlington, Jimmy Smith (Debbie) of Bryan. 3 grandchildren Zane Reitz, Mackinley Coppic, Sailor Reitz, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
