Billy Don Northcut, 75, formerly of Brownwood, passed away in Oklahoma City on December 23, 2015.
He is survived by wife Gisela and daughter Candice (Tim) of Pittsburg, PA. He is also survived by sisters Mamie Hruzek of El Campo, TX, Betty (Wayne) Jackson of Garland, TX and Hetty (Lowell) Moore of Cedar Park, TX. He was preceded in death by parents Andy and Nancy Northcut, by brothers A.J., Hollis, Harvey and Harley and by sisters and their spouses Hannah (Marvin) Smith, Idell (Woodrow)Brazil, Lahoma (Woody) Woodside, Arlene (Edgar) Mullins, Klora (Elton) Dobbins, and Lola (Merle) Thompson. He was our beloved baby brother and never failed to let us know this.
Our Don served proudly in Viet Nam with his brother Harley and was a victim of agent orange, ultimately causing cancer. He was a well decorated Army veteran. Private burial will be at the National Cemetery in San Antonio. A memorial is planned in Brownwood.
A memorial will be held for our brother at First Christian Church, 2411 Coggin Avenue, Brownwood, TX on Saturday, February 20th at 1:00.
