Billie Gilbreath, age 69 of Brownwood, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Billie was born to Billie Hubert Gilbreath and Christina Hale in Brownwood, Texas on Jan. 8, 1942. He was a master plumber. He loved to ride motorcycles. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1946.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Sawyer and husband Barry of Mansfield; his grandchildren, D.J. Sawyer and Cheyenne Turner; his brother, Garland Gilbreath and wife Sue of Stamford; his uncle, Jack Gilbreath of Comanche; his aunt, Evona Gilbreath of Brookesmith; his cousin, Darrell Gilbreath.
Billie is preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Ann Gilbreath; his son, Billie Gilbreath Jr.; and his parents, Billie and Christina Gilbreath.
Graveside services for Billie Gilbreath will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in Cox Cemetery in McCulloch County, with Reverend John Beckling officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Blaylock Funeral Home.
