A memorial service for Bill Meisner will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 n the Heartland Funeral Chapel.
Anyone that knew Bill could not forget his sense of humor or his willingness to give advice.
After 23 years with a heart transplant, Bill died of complications of kidney failure Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
Bill grew up in Arlington, Texas graduating from Arlington High School in 1956 and attending Arlington State College. He served seven years in the National Guard stationed in Brownwood. Growing up Bill spent his summers in Brownwood with his grandfather, B.U. Ross working on the Ross Ranch. Bill retired from Western Electric after 20 years of service. He returned to Brownwood and pursued his passion for raising cattle.
Bill is survived by sons, Keith and David Meisner, his grandchildren; Payden Meisner, Jenna Meisner Coker, Amber Meisner, Jace Meisner, and Haylee Meisner. He is also survived by a great-granddaughter Bailey Coker, and uncle A.J. Meisner, 6 nephews, and several cousins and many friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother Claudia Ross Meisner, his father Edgar Christian Meisner and brother Charles Thomas Meisner.
