bigbrothersbigsisterslogoFor many people, the shopping for the holidays is fun, but the wrapping…not so fun. This year let Big Brothers Big Sisters wrap holiday gifts for a donation.  Volunteers and staff will be accepting gift drop-offs at the Family Services Center Monday thru Thursday, December 2nd – 19th from 8 am – 2 pm.  All they ask in return is that a tax deductible donation be made to the organization.

A minimum donation of $1 – $5 per package will be accepted depending on the size of the present.  Appointments can be made for times other than scheduled drop-off times by calling the office, 325-643-5600. All donations are tax deductible and support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters to help children reach their fullest potential through one-to-one mentoring.

Research shows that through the positive impact of a match relationship, children are more likely to graduate from high school and less likely to use drugs, alcohol or engage in high-risk behaviors.  In short, they will have more opportunity to reach their highest potential with the encouragement that an additional adult mentor can add to their life.  Donations will go directly to work helping make matches in Brown County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brown County is a United Way agency primarily supported by local donations.  To schedule a drop-off or for more information contact Gina Jameson at 325-643-5600 or gjameson@bbbstx.org .
