The Family Services Center is hosting the Big Bass Benefit fishing tournament again this year on Satruday, October 3rd at the Mountain View Lodge & Marina Lake Brownwood. This Tournament will provide a fun family oriented day of fishing at Lake Brownwood with 3 Divisions: open, ladies, and juniors.
There are prizes for all ages with a $3000 guaranteed first prize and a $1000 guaranteed big bass prize.
The Tournament Information is outlined below.
Open Division—$60 Ladies Division—$30 Juniors Division—$20
(Big Bass included in Open Division, $5 Big Bass optional for Ladies and Juniors)
The following is the cash prize breakdown for the 3 fish stringer awards and is based on 250 entries:
1st $3000, 2nd $1375, 3rd $825, 4th $618, 5th $412 6th-10th $275
Tournament Hours: 6:00 am—3:00 pm
Weigh-in Line opens at 2:30 CLOSES at 3:00

All entrants must register (or check-in for early registration) either Friday evening or Saturday morning
Friday 5:00-10:00 pm Saturday 5:00-6:00 am
Three Overall Big Bass of the Day: $1000, 30%, 20%
Ladies Division:
The $30 entry fee will allow ladies to compete for largest 3-fish stringer of the day. First place is a guaranteed $150 with additional places paid as number of participants allow (1 place for each 4 entries). An additional $5 will enter entrants in the big bass of day overall.
Junior Division:
The $20 entry fee will allow juniors (16 years old and younger) to compete against other juniors for the largest 3-stringer of the day. First place is a guaranteed $100 with additional places paid as number of participants allow (1 place for each 4 entries). An additional $5 will enter en-trants in the big bass of the day overall.
Family Services Center exists to strengthen individuals, children, and families through professional counseling, education, advocacy, supportive services and collaboration.
