Brownwood ISD Board of Trustees recognized BHS Varsity Lady Lions Basketball team and their coaching staff along with the BHS Advanced Construction Class during Tuesday night’s regular meeting of the board. Each student was presented with a Certificate of Excellence.
Coach Heather Hohertz, her staff and the girls’ basketball team were recognized for their achievements and success during the 2016 Basketball Season. The BHS Advanced Construction Class was recognized for their construction of a new board room podium.
Students Hayden Day, Miguel Zuinga, Daniel Arredondo, Clayton Bertand, and Luceano Perez cut, shaped and assembled the podium and David Ynostros-Gonzales, Hugo Lugo, Corbin Algood, and Conner Fitzgerald sanded and finished the project.
